SHIPPING POLICY

OVERVIEW

We ship all Kanz & Muhul USA orders from San Jose, California via USPS Priority Mail through our shipping partner Shippo. We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please read this policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect after placing your order.


ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays) after payment is confirmed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Please note:

  • Orders placed on weekends or federal holidays will begin processing the next business day
  • During peak seasons, sales, or promotional periods processing may take up to 5 business days
  • We will notify you by email if there is any unusual delay with your order

SHIPPING RATES

Shipping rates are calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. No hidden fees.


DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

All orders ship from San Jose, California via USPS Priority Mail.

West Coast (AZ, NV, OR, WA) 2–4 business days
Midwest & South 3–5 business days
East Coast (NY, NJ, FL, etc.) 4–6 business days

These are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on USPS volume, weather conditions, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control. Total delivery time = processing time + shipping time.


SHIPPING CARRIER

We ship via USPS Priority Mail for all standard orders. USPS Priority Mail includes:

  • Package tracking on every shipment
  • Up to $100 of insurance included
  • Delivery to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses

Once your order is handed to USPS a tracking number will be automatically emailed to you and updated in your Shopify order. You can track your package at any time at usps.com.


ORDER TRACKING

Once your order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your USPS tracking number. You can use this number to track your package at:

  • usps.com
  • Directly in your account on our store if you created one at checkout

If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of placing your order please check your spam folder first then contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com.


SHIPPING DELAYS

Kanz & Muhul USA is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • USPS carrier delays or service disruptions
  • Severe weather events or natural disasters
  • Federal holidays or peak season carrier volume
  • Incorrect address provided at checkout
  • Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If your package is significantly delayed beyond the estimated timeframe please contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com and we will do our best to assist you.


LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

Once USPS marks your package as delivered Kanz & Muhul USA is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package please take the following steps:

  1. Wait 24 hours — carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered 1 day early
  2. Check with neighbors, building management, or a safe drop location
  3. Check all entry points of your property
  4. Contact your local USPS post office directly with your tracking number
  5. If still unresolved after 48 hours contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com and we will assist you in filing a USPS missing package claim

We strongly recommend ensuring your delivery address is safe and secure at checkout.


INCORRECT ADDRESS

Please double check your shipping address carefully before completing your order. Kanz & Muhul USA is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses.

If a package is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect address entered at checkout
  • Failure to retrieve from a USPS pickup location
  • Refusal of delivery

We will contact you to arrange reshipment. A re-shipping fee of $5.99 will apply or we may deduct the original shipping cost from your refund if you choose not to reship.


PACKAGE CONTENTS AND FOOD SAFETY

All Kanz & Muhul USA products are packed with care to ensure they arrive safely and in optimal condition. Our packaging standards:

  • All spices and food products are sealed airtight before dispatch
  • Fragile or glass items are bubble wrapped and secured
  • Products are packed in sturdy boxes or padded mailers to prevent crushing
  • Each package includes a packing slip with your order details

If your package arrives visibly damaged or tampered with please photograph the outer packaging before opening and contact us within 72 hours of delivery at shiban@kanzspices.com.


SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT

Standard orders do not require a signature upon delivery. If you would like to request a signature requirement for your delivery please contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com before placing your order and we will arrange this where possible. Additional carrier fees may apply.


PO BOXES AND APO/FPO ADDRESSES

We can ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail. Please note delivery to APO/FPO addresses may take longer than standard estimated timeframes.


CURRENT SHIPPING LIMITATIONS

  • We ship within the contiguous United States only
  • We do not currently ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or US territories
  • We do not currently offer international shipping
  • We do not currently offer expedited or overnight shipping

MULTIPLE ITEMS IN ONE ORDER

If you order multiple items they will be shipped together in one package where possible to minimize shipping costs and packaging waste. In rare cases where items need to be split into separate shipments you will receive separate tracking numbers for each package and will not be charged additional shipping.
