RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

OVERVIEW

We want you to love every product you receive from Kanz & Muhul USA. Because we sell premium natural food products including spices, saffron, dry fruits, teas, and honey, our returns policy reflects the nature of consumable goods while remaining fair to our customers.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.


RETURN WINDOW

We offer a 7-day return policy. You have 7 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. Requests made after 7 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.


FOOD PRODUCT RETURN LIMITATIONS

Because our products are consumable food items the following strict limitations apply:

We CANNOT accept returns on:

  • Any food product that has been opened, used, or consumed even partially
  • Products removed from their original sealed packaging
  • Products where the seal has been broken for any reason
  • Products that show signs of use or tampering
  • Sale or discounted items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized orders

We CAN accept returns on:

  • Unopened, unused products in their original sealed packaging returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Products received damaged, defective, or incorrect — must be reported within 72 hours of delivery
  • Products where a manufacturing defect is identified upon first opening — must be reported within 72 hours

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for a return your item must meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • Return requested within 7 days of delivery date
  • Item is completely unopened and unused
  • Original seals and packaging are fully intact
  • All original labels are attached
  • Proof of purchase or order number is provided

If any of these conditions are not met your return request will be declined.


HOW TO START A RETURN

Contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com with the following:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return
  • Photos if the item is damaged or defective

Do not send any item back without contacting us first. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted and will not be eligible for a refund.

Once your return is approved we will email you a prepaid return shipping label along with full instructions on how and where to send your package.

DAMAGES, DEFECTS & WRONG ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect contact us within 72 hours of delivery at shiban@kanzspices.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged or incorrect item
  • Clear photos of the outer packaging it arrived in

We will resolve the issue at no cost to you through a replacement, store credit, or full refund at our discretion. Claims reported after 72 hours of delivery will not be accepted.


EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the product you want is:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery to initiate a return
  2. Once your return is approved place a new separate order for the correct item

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

  • Opened or used food products of any kind
  • Products with broken seals or tampered packaging
  • Perishable goods past their best-by date
  • Sale items and clearance products
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Products damaged due to improper storage after delivery
  • Products where customer misuse or mishandling is evident
  • Any return request made after 7 days of delivery

REFUNDS

Approval Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or declined within 2 business days of receiving the return.

Refund Timeline

  • If approved: Refund processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days
  • If declined: We will explain the reason in detail

Your bank or credit card company may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the refund to your account after we initiate it. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it please contact us at shiban@kanzspices.com.

Partial Refunds

We reserve the right to issue partial refunds in the following situations:

  • Items returned not in original condition due to reasons not caused by our error
  • Orders where only part of the order qualifies for return

Original Shipping Costs

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error such as a wrong item sent, manufacturing defect, or damage in transit.

Store Credit Option

In certain cases where a full monetary refund is not applicable we may offer store credit as a goodwill gesture at our sole discretion. Store credit does not expire and can be used on any future order.


EUROPEAN UNION — 14 DAY COOLING OFF PERIOD

If merchandise is being shipped into the European Union you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt for any reason and without justification under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. The item must be in the same condition as received — unopened, unused, with original seals and packaging fully intact — and you must provide proof of purchase.

Note: We currently ship within the United States only. This section is included for compliance purposes should our shipping expand internationally.
